TUNING& UPGRADES
Old cars can fall out of tune over time, often so gradual you don't notice your missing a few BHP or burning more fuel than you need to. When servicing your classic or rebuilding your engine, an additional service we can provide is to tune and balance your carburettors or to adjust your distributor advance curves. If any units require a full strip and reassemble with new components, we sensitively clean to retain as much patina as possible. We first clean all units in our safe hot wash machine to remove loose dirt and grease. Then its over to the ultrasonic bath cleaner to remove the encrusted limescale/grit
Factory standard is not to everyone's liking, nor suits the desired needs of how/where you intend driving. We can supply and fit:
Electronic Distributor Kits ideal for cars driven all year round to get away from damp winter points.
High Torque starter motors.
Engine Stroker kits - A great upgrade for more bhp/torque if your already having your engine rebuilt.
Aftermarket alloy radiators and modern electric cooling fan kits ideal for driving in hot summer climates or stuck in the daily London ULEZ traffic! Overheating can become super expensive so this is a sensible cost prevention investment. Most of our clients who take up this option keep the original in storage to retain the resale value if the new owner wishes to return to factory spec.

Sports Exhausts with or without valve kit are another quick upgrade. We can advise you on which brand/style suits the look and level of noise/power gain your after.
